Flick reached over and started rubbing her back lightly. With his other hand, he reached into his bag and pulled out a bottle of water that he uncapped and passed to her.

"Drink," he ordered quietly. "And I'm glad you liked him. Maybe Alec will come around. I know you said he's serious so give him some time, maybe? The timing could have been wrong."
